A lot of the “scratches” actually wipe off with a silicone cloth. My first Spyderco DLC blade, and now I’d say it’s wearing at a very reasonable rate. One of my favorite EDC knives. The Military is an extremely ergonomic design.

Awesome knife, but after a week of carry the black coating is all scratched up along the spine of the blade. I have it clipped to a pocket that my iPhone (no case) also rides in.

Can't go wrong with a Millie, and the black blade seems to be less scary to non-knife people than the shiny satin blade. And FYI, this model now comes with all black hardware (not the SS as pictured).
