My EDC12/29/2017 ByJT All the rave reviews aren't bs. They're spot on. I love this knife. It disappears into my front pocket and hides there well. M4 steel. Very hard like 62-64 but will take a razor sharp edge and hold it. In fact for touch up I use the Knives Plus strop block. Everyone who sees this knife loves it. Self defense? Absolutely. The lock mechanism is stone cold solid. Hunting? I've cleaned and skinned a deer and the blade is stout enough to take apart joints with ease. Oh yes. It opens so fast with a little practice people think it's some kind of switchblade. The G10 grip material is perfect. Love G10 checkered. 4 Sigs have Hogue G10 cherkered grips. Great material.
