Awt manix 2 lw replacement scales07/31/2024 ByJohn Kassos These scales are a very tight fit you can't tighten the screws down or the spring won't disengage I don't recommend these unless your gonna red locktite them in otherwise theyre going to fall out..I have them for the regular manix 2 no issues it's just the lightweight replacement..contacted awt they said you can't tighten the screws..but maybe mine is worse than others Our responseThank you for your review. We do recommend, along with AWT, that the show side pivot screw and show side handle screw be loosened slightly (smidge of a turn). This is nothing unusual and is done on the majority of Spyderco Knives to achieve a desirable action. That being said, we'd be happy to take the scales back for a full refund.
