A bit smaller than I thought it would be, but after a while I adjusted and must say I am very pleased with it. Reset the clip and it hid nicely on the belt. As received, it was very sharp. Would buy again for sure.

Clips inside the strong side front waist band in front of the pocket. I hook my thumb between the handle and the sheath to draw it. Reasonably well concealed, handy and fast to draw; it takes two hands to re-sheath.

Ordering and Shipping was quick and simple. Came in a genuine unopened new box with some Knives Plus stickers.
Pros: No defects, sheath works as advertised, good grip, nice sharp blade. Very intuitive design and function.
Cons: If you want to switch the buckle on the sheath, you'll have a hard time unscrewing it.
First time Knives Plus customer, would order from them again and recommended for all your knife needs!

First off, Knives plus was a great company to do business with....item was in stock, priced right and shipping was reasonable and fast. The Ka Bar Investigator 1493 is definitely a specialty item. I carry mine on my weak side in case I can't get to (or need to protect) my side arm. Just the right size and the case isn't bad. Personally, I'll take a fixed blade over a folder any day......it's faster and stronger with no chance of malfunctioning or closing the blade on your fingers. I actually like this knife better than a Karambit.

Small and accurate, perfect piece for backup protection when you can't carry a weapon. Blade is under most restrictions for consideration as a weapon, could be argued as tool but there if your life depends on it.

The knife is fantastic love everything about it. Only reason I'm giving four stars and not five is because I paid for the sharpening service and it is most definitely NOT "shaving" sharp.

I really love it. Very comfortable to wear. Fits great in my hand and came nice and sharp. Sheath also works great and keeps the knife very secure.
