I bought the D2 stockman after buying the trapper. It's an excellent value. The fit & finish is equal to my Case slip joints, but the D2 should have much better edge retention. This is at a price much better than Case. The gray laminate scales look great. It is smaller than a Case medium stockman, but still big enough. The Knives+ sharpening is well worth the $8. Buy it.
