Sharpened and tuned, perfect centering, smooth action and drop shut closing. I really enjoy the entire Knives Plus experience including hard to find items and custom mods. I will probably never buy another knife anywhere else.

Such a good Mod10/10/2025 ByTopDog This was my first modded Knife from KivesPlus. This is not a review of the Spyderco Sage 5, but a review of the mod. I am very impressed this was not just slapping aftermarket scales on a Spyderco. It was tuned to perfection. Drop shutty, not a scratch on it from assembly, Original scales and Layard tube included. I also asked for sharpening, and it slices through paper towel easily. It’s a very even, sharp, toothy edge. I am wondering if the AWT scales were handpicked. I read that Type III anodizing can be uneven, mine are not, they are perfect. Perhaps a shade or two lighter than the listing, contrasts the black hardware very nicely. It’s clear this was professional with due attention to detail. I am very much going to recommend KivesPlus modded knives. Thank You KnivesPlus.
