Decided to buy 2 of the Counter Tac ll boot knives. Great price and service frome Knives Plus. The knife's design is primarily for stabbing/piercing, not for slicing or shaving although it can slice ..... but not as well as it can pierce. The knifes handle design helps gripping the small handle. I wear XL gloves and have arthritis in both hands but there is enough handle for me to grip plus the rubbery handle coating gives me some excellent grip traction. The way the finish on the blade looks in different angles to the light source is amazing and can make the blade look darker than it actually is to me. The top side of the blade is angled equally as a dagger should be, but the bottom side of the blade has a concave gring to it ....... I supose that is for less resistance and to help it pierce. I wear 2 of these knives and I highly recommend them unless your needs require more side cutting ability.

I use this knife as a neck knife. The clip is easily detached form the sheath, the bead chain attached and your good to go. this knife was designed for self defence. It is chisel ground edge, flat on one side. (Like a lot of CS push knives) It's light and secure in the sheath and easy to draw. The handle is a little small but scales allow for a decent grip. If you want a little more heft take a look at the CS mini leatherneck double edge spear point.
