The corky cutter will be fantastic for field dressing deer. Mine came sharp and is very comfortable in hand. My sheath had a hole in the bottom from the knife being pushed into it to far, an email to Silver Stag resulted in a new sheath being mailed to me no questions asked. In my opinion the customer support alone is worth the price of the knife. American made knife and sheath.. support American made products when possible.
