Great Knife, Crazy Fast Shipping07/01/2025 ByUncleCactus It's my first Manic, and the knife itself I absolutely love. The action is super smooth, blade is perfectly centered and razor sharp. No blade play whatsoever. Excellent tolerances, very well built. CruWear is fantastic as ever. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the micarta scales. I'm a huge micarta fan, but this is not the nicest micarta I've seen. Color is plain and dull, edges are not well chamfered. Almost looks like particle board. Micarta is capable of great beauty if you put a little effort into the finish, which Spyderco clearly did not do here. Doesn't matter though, as I wanted the CruWear blade and always intended on getting aftermarket scales.
The real star here, however, was the service from KnivesPlus. Fastest shipping I've ever seen. I literally had my knife in hand less than 25 hours after submitting the order (with $8.99 upgraded Fedex shipping). Incredible. They've definitely made a repeat customer out of me.
