Modifications that make it a new knife08/01/2023 ByJames S Knives plus do an excellent job of customization. The options for this were scales, which made it super light, change the appearance and grip 2 a different level. The new spring and bearing made a very smooth opening and closing. The sharpening made it cut like a light saber.
A great and classic knife10/27/2019 ByRB Backhaus This knife was my birthday present to myself. A good example of acting on a “want” not a “need” as I already have a large knife collection ranging from $40 to $300 knives. Having said this, the Manix 2 will become the workhorse knife that I use working in the yard as it can handle anything I throw at it with the combo serrated blade in the S30V steel. This is the biggest knife I would ever carry EDC, but it is manageable although a bit heavy, it is solid and well constructed with great ergonomics. The ball bearing lock is similar to the Benchmade axis lock, but not as smooth. Hopefully after some usage it will become smoother. The handle although not bad could be a bit more grippy for my taste for when your hands are slippery wet. I love the leaf shaped blade. Priced about right. So glad I finally added it to my collection.
