This is an awesome little knife if you you view a knife as a tool and not as a prop for your mental cosplay. If you need to trim, scrape, shave or pare something, it's awesome. (If you need to do a lot of slicing - say, break down boxes - grab your $10 folding utility knife, which you don't even have to sharpen.) Thanks to the chisel grind on both edges, it cuts flush to a flat surface. Muck it up, and you can remove the lanyard and soak it in solvent overnight. Keep in mind this is a small knife (check the dims), so it's best for detail work. It's also thinner and lighter than the photos suggest. My only gripe is that for me, the handle could be a half inch longer. Still, for what I use it for, a two-finger grip is fine (and the jimping helps you to solidly plant your thumb). If you're a woodworker or handyman, amateur or pro, you want this thing in your pocket.
