XIKAR Knives-It all started in 1994 with a quest for a good cigar cutter: he couldn't find one, so he made one. Kurt Van Keppel and Scott Almsberger designed the Xi Cutter cigar cutter in 1996, assembled the prototypes in Kurt's garage in 1997, and made the first mass production run in 1998. In 2002, XIKAR added slim, lightweight gentlemen's knives to the product line; and in 2003, the Extreme line of high tech folding knives.
The illustrated XIKAR Multi-Tool is the XIKAR MTX Cigar Cutter Multi-Tool; the ultimate cool gadget for the cigar enthusiast. The scissors of this XIKAR Multi-Tool can cut up to a 54 ring gauge cigar. Other components include a cigar poker, a cigar box opener, a screwdriver, a bottle opener and a key ring attachment. This MTX Cigar Cutter Multi-Tool has a slim, compact design with all over chrome polished finish, .2 inches thick, and weighs only 1 ounce.
