TigerSharp Knives: TigerSharp Hunting Knife, TS-150
The TigerSharp Hunting Knife has a 3.75" replaceable drop point blade made of GIN 5 steel. The steel has been cryogenically treated and hardened to a Rockwell of 61. The contoured Zytel handle is 4.5" long with Kraton inserts for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. The top mounted locking mechanism has texture notches, and doubles as a convenient thumb rest. The TigerSharp Hunting Knife has an overall open length of 8.25", and weighs 3.0 ounces. Each TigerSharp Hunting Knife includes 2 plain edge blades, and a black nylon belt sheath with blade storage slot.
The Hunting Knife features the patented TigerSharp Replacement Edge System. The R.E.S. eliminates the need to sharpen a knife. No tools are needed for blade changes, is as simple as 1-2-3.
1. Slide the blade lock mechanism rearward 1/2"
2. Holding the knife by the handle, push the rear of the blade edge against a stationary object. This will cause the top rear of the blade to project up from the top of the knife
3. Carefully grasp the top rear of the blade and draw it up and out of the knife
Assemble in reverse order.
