Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Pacific Salt, Serrated Black Blade and Black Handle, SP-C91SBBK
The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife that features a 3.80" blade made of H-1 steel, .118" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a non reflective black (TiCN) titanium carbonitride coat, a hollow grind, a notched thumb ramp and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black (FRN) fiberglass reinforced nylon handle, 4.89" closed, has Volcano Grip Texturing for secure grip and a Boye Dent lockback. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife handle has an overall open length of 8.69" and it weighs 3.0 ounces. Made in Japan.
The Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
