Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Memory Knife, SP-C155TIP
The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Memory Knife, made in honor of knifemaker Frank Centofante, that features a 3.02" spear point blade made of VG10 stainless steel, .091" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a flat grind and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim blued titanium handle, 4.05" closed, has a glass fiber front scale and the Michael Walker Liner lock. A removable steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Memory Knife has an overall length of 7.07" and it weighs 3.4 ounces. Made in Japan.
From the Spyderco website on Frank Centofante: There are many things people do know about custom knifemaker Frank Centofante. He was a respected knifemaker for forty years. He was the president of the American Knifemaker's Guild for over a decade and that he passed away in 2009. Not generally known about Frank is he was a fireman, devoted family man, an occasional prankster and would generously share his secrets of successful knifemaking with anyone who asked. For many years Frank was a key contributor in educating Spyderco's manufacturing team, teaching them to learn how to recognize, appreciate and build quality knives. His advice was sage with him saying often "if you can't see the difference... you can't build the difference." It is in his memory Spyderco releases the C155 Memory folder by Frank Centofante.
