Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Police 3 G-10 Knife, Serrated, SP-C07GS3
The illustrated Spyderco knife is the Spyderco Police 3 G-10 Knife that features a 4.35" blade made of VG-10 stainless steel, 3mm thick, with a hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a full flat grind, a weight reducing spine swedge, and a notched thumb ramp for secure grip. The black G-10 handle, 5.56" closed, has stainless steel liners and a Boye Dent back lock. An end to end and side to side reversible black metal pocket clip is also included for tip up, tip down, left handed or right handed carry. The Spyderco Police 3 G-10 Knife has an overall open length of 9.91" and weighs 5 ounces.

It was designed to have an as large as possible blade built into a thin, equally sized handle. Because of this, Save and Serve professionals continue buying the Police Model as an essential tool for their trade. Since its introduction, new handle materials like G-10 have become available in the cutlery industry, and requests for a G-10 handled Police Model poured in. We accommodated, and re-engineered with a finger choil, a full flat ground blade, and released the Police3.
Editor's note: The G10 Police is unusual from a standard Police in that it has G-10 handles, it is about 1/4" longer and has a flat ground blade.
