Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Caspian2 Salt Knife, Blunt Tip, SP-FB22PSBK
The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Caspian2 Salt Knife that features a 3" part serrated drop point fixed blade made of H1 steel. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a blunt tip, a spine mounted line cutter and a lanyard hole. The Caspian2 Salt Knife has full tang construction; skeletonized handle with Bi-Directionally textured black fiberglass reinforced nylon scales, a 1" diameter Fred Perrin inspired index finger hole with deep seated jimping above and below for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A tension spring plastic sheath is included with this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Caspian2 Salt Knife has an overall length of 7 5/32" and weighs 2.75 ounces.
The Spyderco Caspian2 Salt Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
