The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife that features a 3 13/16" modified sheepfoot blade made of H1 steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a non reflective black finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The Black fiberglass reinforced nylon handle, 4 15/16" closed, has a Volcano Grip texture, Boye dent lockback, and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible black titanium pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife with black blade has an overall length of 8 5/8", and it weighs 3 ounces.
The Spyderco Pacific Salt Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
