Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Lava Knife, SP-C110P
The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Lava Knife, made in collaboration with Chad Los Banos, that features a 1 7/8" leaf shaped blade made of VG10 stainless steel with Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The sharpened edge of the blade drops downwards, creating a negative blade angle. This means the cutting edge sits lower than the user's index finger, naturally positioning the wrist. When the blade and the wrist align, one is able to cut longer with less fatigue and better leverage. The contoured stainless steel handle of this Spyderco knife, 3 7/16" closed, has a pronounced finger choil, Boye dent lockback and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Lava Knife has an overall length of 5 5/16" and weighs 3.0 ounces.
