Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Scorpius Knife with Serrated Edge, SP-C87S
The Spyderco Scorpius Knife was designed by Eric Glesser for use as an urban-tactical utility knife. The handle has contour waves that maximize grip, and a tail area that can be used as a non-lethal control devise, or an emergency glass breaker. The illustrated Scorpius Knife features a 3" mostly serrated blade made of VG-10 stainless steel, 3/32" thick. The blade is hollow ground with a top swedge, and Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The opening hole is enlarged for easy opening, even with gloved or wet hands. The contoured stainless steel handle, 4 3/8" closed, has a Boye Dent lock back, a lanyard hole, and a stainless steel pocket clip that is reversible from end to end. The Spyderco Scorpius has an overall open length of 7 15/16", and it weighs just over 4.3 ounces.
