The Spyderco Yojimbo was designed by Martial Blade Craft master instructor Michael Janich (with a prototype executed by custom knife maker Michael Snody).
The Spyderco Yojimbo Knife features a 2 7/8" modified Wharncliffe blade made of CPMS30V stainless steel, 5/32" thick. The blade has the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening, and a notched thumb rest. The blue G10 handle, 5" closed, tapers to a tail-allowing it to be used for pressure control on an opponent or challenger. The Yojimbo Knife has a Compression Lock, and a lanyard hole. The removable pocket clip is mounted at the butt end. The Spyderco Yojimbo Knife has an overall open length of 7 13/16", and weighs 3.6 ounces.
