The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Black Military Knife that features a 4" flat ground blade made of CPMS30V stainless steel, 5/32" thick, with non reflective black coat, jimped thumb ramp and hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black G10 handle of this Spyderco knife, 5.52" closed, comes with nested linerlock, back spacers for easy field cleaning, and lanyard hole. A three point attachment metal pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Black Military Knife has an overall length of 9.52" when open, and weighs 4.2 ounces.

A lot of the “scratches” actually wipe off with a silicone cloth. My first Spyderco DLC blade, and now I’d say it’s wearing at a very reasonable rate. One of my favorite EDC knives. The Military is an extremely ergonomic design.

Can't go wrong with a Millie, and the black blade seems to be less scary to non-knife people than the shiny satin blade. And FYI, this model now comes with all black hardware (not the SS as pictured).

Awesome knife, but after a week of carry the black coating is all scratched up along the spine of the blade. I have it clipped to a pocket that my iPhone (no case) also rides in.
