The Spyderco JD Smith Knife was designed by custom knifemaker JD Smith for Spyderco Knives. The illustrated JD Smith Knife features a 3 1/4" serrated clip point blade made of ATS34 stainless steel, 1/8" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 59-61. The blade has the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black Micarta handle, 5" closed, has finger grooves, a lock back, and lanyard hole. A pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end. The Spyderco JD Smith Knife has an overall length of 8 5/8" when open and weighs 3 ounces.
