SOG Knives: SOG Twitch II Knife, Rainbow Coat, SG-TWI11
The SOG Twitch Knives feature the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) opening mechanism. Unlike an automatic knife, which is activated by a button mounted on the handle, the SOG S.A.T. opening mechanism only works when the operator manually begins to open the blade. With just a nudge of a thumb stud or blade kick, the S.A.T. takes over to propel the blade to the open position.
The Sog Rainbow Twitch II Knife features a 2.68" drop point blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .100" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade has a rainbow Titanium Nitride coat, with dual thumb studs, extended blade kick, and S.A.T. assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The rainbow Titanium Nitride coated T6 aluminum handle, 3.52" closed, has lock back, safety lock, and pocket-money clip mounted at the butt end. The Sog Rainbow Twitch II Knife is 6.2" overall when open, and weighs 2.6 ounces.
