SOG Knives Flash Knives feature the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) opening mechanism. The S.A.T. helps propel the blade to the open position, after the one handed opening has been initiated by the operator. The handle has a slide release bolt-action lock, front to back reversible “bayonet mounted” discrete carry pocket clip (mounted at the butt end), and an additional safety lock for secure carry when the blade is closed (switch showing red = ready to open). The SOG Flash knives are available in 2 sizes, with black Zytel or Graphite anodized aluminum handles. All Flash knives have AUS8 (Rc. 57-58) stainless steel blades with dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening.Illustrated knife has a Graphite gray anodized aluminum handle.
SOG Flash I Knife with Graphite Aluminum handle features a 2.5” part serrated AUS8 stainless steel blade, .090” thick, with dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening, and S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) opening mechanism. The Graphite anodized aluminum handle, 3.25” closed, is a greenish-gray color with subtle texturing. The handle sports a slide release bolt-action lock, and an additional safety lock for secure carry when the blade is closed (switch showing red = ready to open). The Aluminum Flash I comes complete with a front to back reversible “bayonet mounted” discrete carry pocket clip (mounted at the butt end). 5.75” overall when open, weighs only 1.5 ounces.
