The illustrated Smith's Knife Sharpener is the Smith's Standard Edge Pull Thru Sharpener that uses crossed carbide blades and crossed ceramic stones, pre-set at a 23 degree angle, to sharpen pocket knives, kitchen knives and more. The ergonomically designed black composite frame of this Smith's knife sharpener has gray Soft-Grip rubber onlays for comfort, and non slip rubber feet for safety. Use the Carbide blades to set a quick edge on very dull blades; use the ceramic stones for finishing the edge, maintaining an already sharp edge, or for touching up a serrated edge.
