The above illustrated Smith's Ceramic Steel Sharpener features a 9" Oval Ceramic Sharpening Rod, 800 grit, for re-aligning and honing a knife's edge as well as a rubber tip to help prevent scratches on kitchen surfaces. The handle, 5", features a handguard and ring for easy storage. Overall length of 14".
