Smith and Wesson Texas Ranger Commemorative KnivesTexas Ranger Commemorative celebrates the oldest state law enforcement agency in the United States. Since 1823, a small legendary Special Force of men have acted as "rangers for the common defense" against everything from bandit raids, cattle rustlers and bootleggers to bank robbers and criminal gangs. Numbering 114 today, the Texas Rangers operate as a division of the Texas Department of Public Safety, assisting local law enforcement when called upon, and conducting major criminal investigations with the same determination and integrity of every Ranger that has served before them. |
