Sentry Solutions SMOOTH-KOTE
Sentry Solutions SMOOTH-KOTE is a fast-drying lubricant and bore treatment that bonds to metal, protecting against friction and wear. Based on molybdenum disulfide technology, the passivated sub-micron particles bond to metal for long-lasting lubrication from -65 F to +650 F. SMOOTH-KOTE eliminates grime with advanced non-stick dry protection that repels dirt and makes cleaning firearms as simple as brushing them off. As a bore treatment, the bonded lubricant dramatically reduces all types of fouling thereby enhancing accuracy, reliability and bullet velocity. SMOOTH-KOTE is a great alternative to expensive bullet coating.Directions:
1. Clean surfaces using a cleaner that leaves no residue, or rinse clean surface with alcohol (rubbing alcohol, etc.).
2. Stir and shake SMOOTH-KOTE and apply a thin coat to dry surfaces using a brush, patch or by dipping. Apply moderate heat for two minutes or cure for two hours. NOTE: a SMOOTH-KOTE treated surface will have a gray-black color.
3. To maintain surface, use a dry nylon brush to remove dirt and then touch up with Smooth-Kote. SMOOTH-KOTE can be removed with cleaning solvents. Use BP-2000 POWDER on top of Smooth-Kote for enhanced performance.
