Schrade Knives: Schrade SCHF52 Frontier Knife, SC-F52

The illustrated Schrade Knife is the Schrade SCHF52 Frontier Knife that features a 7.0" drop point fixed blade made of 1095 carbon steel. The blade of this Schrade Knife has a non reflective black finish. The SCHF52 Frontier Knife has full tang construction for strength, ring textured black TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) scales for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A polyester sheath, ferro rod and sharpener are included with this Schrade Knife. The Schrade SCHF52 Frontier Knife has an overall length of 13.0", and it weighs 1 pound. Made in China.

I purchased the Schrade for a general purpose camp knife. Full solid tang and razor sharp out of the box. Looks perfect of batoning campfire wood and hacking small limbs. The rubberized grip feels good and the knife nicely balanced. The sheath is nylon and has a plastic insert for the blade, it also holds a fire striker and sharpener. Great price! Delivery was super fast, I was impressed.

Good edge, good handle, and a thick blade that takes a heavy workload. Ordered a custom sheath that costs more than the Shrade. Worth the investment for the sheath because this is a good blade. Nice weight, good balance on chopping and baton work. Get one before the price jumps up, and it will. Nice defense knife too. In the woods, you never know.
