The Katz Alley Kat Knife is an outstanding field knife. The blade is made of Katz Knives proprietary XT70 stainless steel, that tests out at 54-55 on the Rockwell "C" scale. With the resilience of this excellent stainless steel, it holds and retains an edge to the high standard for which Katz is known. The Alley Kat Knives are constructed with a full 5mm blade thickness (almost 1/4"), which make these knives among the strongest in the industry today.
The Katz Knives Alley Kat Knife features a 6.5" blade made of XT70 stainless steel, 5mm thick, with a 50 percent false top edge, and a blood groove. The Kraton handle is diamond checkered with a slight palm swell for secure grip, a stainless steel cross guard, and a lanyard hole. The Katz Alley Kat Knife comes with a fitted Cordura belt sheath with leg tie-down. The Alley Kat is 10.75" overall, and weighs 7 ounces.
The Katz Alley Kat Knife is also available with an 8" blade.
