KA-BAR Knives: KABAR Turok Knife, KA-7503

The illustrated KABAR Knife is the KABAR Turok Knife, designed by Jesse Jarosz, that features a 6.25" drop point fixed blade made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, .188" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade of this KABAR Knife has a flat grind and a non reflective black coat. The Turok Knife has full tang construction for strength, brown Ultramid handle scales and a lanyard hole. A molded Celon sheath is included with this KABAR Knife. The KABAR Turok Knife has an overall length of 11.5", and it weighs .80 pounds. Made in the USA.

Great knife. Happened to come across one at a local shop (didn't buy it, too expensive). Is everything that I expected, feels good in hand. Great steel, 1095 CroVan. YouTube review: gideonstactical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3p_PzDd3jw sold me on the knife. Works as advertised. Love the fact that it's "made in U.S.A." Will likely but the companion knife, "globetrotter", as well. Would've chosen the shaving sharp option if KnivesPlus had free shipping. Nine dollars to ship was more than I wanted to pay, but the knife plus shipping was still less expensive than other sites that offered free shipping.

This is a great knife at a great price. 1095 is my favorite steel. It sharpens well and holds it well, I love it. This style knife would particularly suit military applications, but the butt isn't perpendicular to the handle. If it were it would be better suited to stabbing (again, military application), and it doesn't have a hilt. The sheath needs some work with a dremmel tool to get the release right. Overall still a great knife.

Good knife and great customer service.
I like how it's balanced. The more I use it, the more I like it. For that price, it's the perfect knife.
