The illustrated KABAR knife is the KABAR Mini Dozier Folder, designed by Bob Dozier, that features a 2 1/4" modified drop point blade made of AUS8A stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade of this KABAR knife has a high hollow grind, the Dozier Design logo, a notched thumb rest, and a reversible thumb stud for one hand opening. The slim black Zytel handle, 3 1/2" closed, has checkering for secure grip, and a lockback. A side to side reversible black metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this KABAR knife. The KABAR Mini Dozier Folder has an overall open length of 5 3/4".

I have been carrying a swiss army knife and a spyderco ladybug for years in my coin pocket, after a intense internet search for a replacement `i decided on the ka-bar mini dozier. The knife has a solid lockup, adjustable pivot screw, and a thumb stud. My knife was a rare exception, instead of being sharp mine was so dull it would not slice paper. I spent 20 minutes reshaping the edge with a lanky system, fine ceramic rod and stropped the edge. The end result was a scary hair popping razor edge. In addition, I contacted ka-bar and they offered to replace the knife, good customer service. This knife is well worth the money.
