The illustrated JA Henckels Knife set is the Twin Cuisine Steak Knife Set that includes four (30349-120) Steak Knives. Each of these Henckels knives features a 4 1/2" blade forged from Friodur ice hardened high carbon stainless steel, and an integral handle design with high impact black polypropylene onlays that are permanently bonded to the tang. The handle is contoured for comfort, and it comes with an integral forged bolster, and exposed tang and butt. Each JA Henckels Twin Cuisine Steak Knife has an overall length of 9 1/4". Made in Germany.

The edge is formed from an extra hard steel to hold the edge, the back of the blade is formed from a flexible steel to withstand the stress of use, and the tang and handle piece are forged for extra strength where it is needed.
