The illustrated Gerber Machete is the Gerber Brush Thinner Machete; a light and efficient machete that is great for clearing out brush and tree limbs in most any setting. The Gerber Brush Thinner Machete has an 8.75" blade made of forged steel, with a unique curved shape and a PATE (Teflon type) coating that reduces friction: minimizing effort and increasing efficiency. The lightweight hollow handle of this Gerber machete is made of a reinforced glass filled nylon composite for extra strength, and includes a lanyard hole. A nylon sheath is included with this Gerber machete. The Gerber Brush Thinner Machete has an overall length of 19.75", and it weighs 15.1 ounces.
