The illustrated Gerber Knife is the Gerber Tread Knife that features a 3.00" part serrated modified drop point blade made of high carbon stainless steel. The blade of this Gerber knife has a notched thumb rest, dual thumb studs and blade flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black glass filled nylon handle, 4.60" closed, has treaded black Softgrip overmold for secure grip, dual liners, a liner lock, and a lanyard hole. A metal pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Gerber knife. The Gerber Tread Knife has an overall length of 7.625" when open, and weighs 5.6 ounces.
