Gerber Knives: Gerber Mini Covert FAST, GB-1967
The illustrated Gerber Knife is the Gerber Mini Covert FAST that features a 2.90" part serrated drop point blade made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel. The blade of this Gerber knife has a non reflective black Titanium coated finish, Rex Applegate and W. E. Fairbairn signatures, dual checkered thumb studs and F.A.S.T. assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The grooved and textured black G10 handle, 3.95" closed, has stainless steel liners, a full back spacer, a slide lock and a lanyard hole. A black metal pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Gerber knife. The Gerber Mini Covert FAST has an overall open length of 6.85", and weighs 3.20 ounces. Imported.
The FAST (Forward Action Spring Technology) is a patented blade opening mechanism developed by custom knife maker Butch Vallotton.
