The illustrated Gerber Knife is the Gerber Aluminum Presto 3.0 Knife that features a 3.0" drop point blade made of high carbon stainless steel. The blade of this Gerber knife has a non reflective matte finish, a thumb disk and FAST assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The FAST (Forward Action Spring Technology) is a patented blade opening mechanism developed by custom knife maker Butch Vallotton. The gray aluminum handle, 4.0" closed, has black TacHide inserts and texture notches for secure grip, dual liners, a slide lock with safety, and a lanyard hole. A stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Gerber knife. The Gerber Aluminum Presto 3.0 Knife has an overall length of 7.0" when open, and weighs 3.6 ounces.
