The illustrated Gerber Knife is the Gerber 06 FAST Knife that features a 3.80" part serrated tanto blade made of stainless steel. The blade of this Gerber knife has a non reflective black Titanium coated finish, dual thumb studs and F.A.S.T. assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The grooved and textured black G10 handle, 4.80" closed, has stainless steel liners, a deep choil and notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a slide lock and an extended pommel with glass breaker and lanyard hole. A metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Gerber knife. The Gerber 06 FAST Knife has an overall open length of 8.60", and it weighs 5.70 ounces. Imported.
The FAST (Forward Action Spring Technology) is a patented blade opening mechanism developed by custom knife maker Butch Vallotton.
