The illustrated Gerber Knife set is the Gerber Gator II Knife with E-Z Gut Hook. The Gerber Gator II Knife features a 3.70" part serrated drop point blade made of 400 series stainless steel. The blade of this Gerber knife has a thumb hole for ambidextrous one hand opening and a notched thumb ramp. The Gator textured handle, 4.72" closed, has a polypropylene core with a non slip Santoprene overmold, a lockback, and lanyard hole. The Gerber Gator II Knife has an overall length of 8.58" when open, and weighs 4.4 ounces.
The E-Z Gut Hook features single piece stainless steel construction. The Gut Hook has a notched thumb rest, an index finger hole and finger grooves for secure grip. The E-Z Gut Hook has an overall length of 4.92", and weighs 1.8 ounces. A thermoformed ballistic nylon sheath that holds both is included with this Gerber knife set.
