Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
Boning knives can be used for a number of purposes, but Forschner recommends using a narrow blade for cutting ribs and chops. This Forschner Boning Knife features a 5" narrow, semi-flexible, straight stainless steel blade with Forschner, Victorinox and NSF logo etch. The handle is made from Black Fibrox, and has been approved by the National Sanitation Foundation.
