Eye Brand Knives: Eye Brand Sod Buster Knife, Stag Handle, EB-99SDS
The illustrated Eye Brand Knife is the Eye Brand Sod Buster Knife that features a sod buster skinner blade made of hammer forged Solingen carbon steel and a saw blade. Hammer forging compresses and realigns the grain structure of the blade steel, thereby increasing the toughness and edge holding characteristics of the knife blade. It is a more costly and time consuming process, but worth the effort. The genuine stag handle of this Eye Brand knife, 4 11/16" closed, has brass liners, nickel silver shield and nickel silver bolster.
Reviewer's note: Great using knives with hammer forged steel. They don't go to alot of trouble to fit and finish. Expect minor imperfections. Stag handle pins are not domed and spun, just hammered down. Best carbon steel around. A favorite with Ranchers in Texas!
All Stag handles will vary in color, which is part of the uniqueness of natural handle materials.
