The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Ripple 2 Knife, designed by custom knifemaker and inventor Ken Onion, that features a 2.78" modified drop point blade made of Acuto 440 stainless steel, .10" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade of this CRKT knife has a high hollow grind, a top swedge, a Flipper and the IKBS pivot system for smooth ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 3.76" closed, has a gray Titanium Nitride coat with buffed pocket worn finish, machined texturing for secure grip, a sturdy frame lock and a lanyard hole. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The CRKT Ripple 2 Knife with plain edge blade and gray handle has an overall length of 5.56" when open, and it weighs 2.3 ounces.
