The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT M16Z ER Knife, designed by Kit Carson, that features a 3.00" part serrated tanto blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .120" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. The blade of this CRKT knife has a polished finish, dual thumb studs and a Carson Flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The Carson Flipper has an integral seat belt cutter, and it serves as a finger guard when the blade is deployed. The drilled orange Zytel handle, 4.25" closed, has 420J2 stainless steel InterFrame construction for strength, Zytel back spacers, a liner lock, AutoLawks and a tungsten carbide window breaker. A side to side reversible black stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT Knife. The CRKT M16Z ER Knife with tanto blade has an overall open length of 7.375", and it weighs 3.6 ounces.
