Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Side Hawg Knife, CR-2403
The illustrated Columbia River Knife is the CRKT Side Hawg Knife, designed by Mike Franklin. The CRKT Side Hawg Knife features single piece 420J2 stainless steel construction. This CRKT Knife has a 1.625" chisel ground modified drop point fixed blade, .12" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 54-56, and a notched thumb rest. The handle of this Columbia River Knife is drilled to lessen weight and it has a pronounced finger choil. The flat Zytel sheath plate of this CRKT knife has a stainless steel post, saddle clip, nylon strap and carabiner. The saddle clip keeps the blade edge safely sealed against the sheath plate. To release the Side Hawg Knife, press down, rotate the knife on the post, and lift off for use. The CRKT Side Hawg Knife has an overall length of 4.375", and weighs 1.8 ounces.
