Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT E-Lock Starlight Knife, CR-7343
The CRKT E-Lock Starlight Knife was designed by customer knife maker Allen Elishewitz. The E-Lock (patent pending) uses a stainless steel rocker bar that engages the blade for secure lock-up. The rocker bar has a strong spring that prevents accidental release, and it can be disengaged with one hand by pressing down firmly at just the right point.
The illustrated CRKT E-Lock Starlight knife features a 3.25" modified clip point blade made of AUS 8 stainless steel, .12" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade has a non-reflective ceramic bead blast finish, dual checkered thumb studs, and blade extension for ambidextrous one hand opening. The CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum handle, 4.12" closed, has a natural bead blast finish, a brushed aluminum back spacer, the E-Lock, and a discrete carry stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The Columbia River Knife and Tool E-Lock Starlight Knife weighs only 3.0 ounces.
