The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT KISS ASSist Knife, designed by Knifemakers' Guild member Ed Halligan, that features a 2.75" tanto blade made of AUS4 stainless steel, .119" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. The blade of this CRKT knife has a single side grind, a high satin finish, a thumb stud with Fire Safe release and OutBurst Assist for one hand opening. The 420J2 stainless steel handle of this CRKT Knife, 3.875" closed, has a bead blast finish, a Zytel blade guard, a carbon fiber inset, a frame lock and a lanyard hole. A removable steel pocket / money clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT Knife. The CRKT KISS ASSist Knife with plain edge tanto blade has an overall open length of 6.75", and it weighs 2.6 ounces.
