Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT H.U.G. 2 Knife, Black, CR-5590K
The illustrated CRKT knife is the Black CRKT H.U.G. 2 Knife (Halligan's Ultimate Gadget), designed by Ed Halligan. This H.U.G. 2 knife features a 1.78" modified spear point blade made of 420J2 stainless steel, .10" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 52-55. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective black titanium nitride coat, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a thumb stud for one hand opening. The slotted stainless steel handle with black titanium nitride coat, 2.90" closed, has a single black Zytel scale and an internal Frame Lock. A black Teflon plated stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The Black CRKT H.U.G. 2 Knife has an overall length of 4.49" when open and weighs 1.5 ounces.
