The illustrated CRKT knife is the Black CRKT H.U.G. Knife (Halligan's Ultimate Gadget), designed by Ed Halligan. This H.U.G. knife features a 2.30" modified spear point blade made of 420J2 stainless steel, .12" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 52-55. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective black titanium nitride coat, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a thumb stud for one hand opening. The slotted stainless steel handle with black titanium nitride coat, 3.65" closed, has a single black Zytel scale and an internal Frame Lock. A black Teflon plated stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The Black CRKT H.U.G. Knife with plain edge blade has an overall length of 5.71" when open and weighs 2.5 ounces.
