Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT PTS Pelvic Tool-Sharpener, CR-2851
The illustrated CRKT Tool is the CRKT PTS Pelvic Tool-Sharpener, designed by Russ Kommer. This CRKT Tool features 3Cr13 high carbon steel construction with wedge shape and chisel edge for splitting the cartilage of large game animals at the pelvic bone seam. The surface of the PTS Pelvic Tool-Sharpener is coated with 400 diamond grit for field sharpening; one side is flat for straight blades, one side has two grooves for fish hooks and arrow broadheads, and the edges are tapered and rounded for serrated blades. A braided leather thong and a carry pouch are included with this CRKT Tool. The CRKT PTS Pelvic Tool-Sharpener has an overall length of 3.0" and weighs 3.8 ounces.
